Does this training meet the requirements for being a responsible Vendor?

Yes - this course is approved by the Liquor Enforcement Division and meets all of the qualifications for being a responsible vendor.

Does this course allow me to conduct tastings at a retail liquor store or liquor-licensed drugstore?

Yes - this course provides certification to conduct tastings at a retail liquor store and liquor-licensed drugstore.

When will I get my certificate?

You will receive your certificate as soon as you complete the course and pass the test. You will be able to download the certificate and it will also be sent to your email.

How long does the course take and how much does it cost?

The course last anywhere between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 2 hours and 45 minutes. In some rare cases, it has lasted up to 3 hours. Live-streaming classes are $35/person. In-person classroom training is varied depending on the location and number of people in the class.

How long does the certificate last?

Your certification is valid for 2 years (this is a change effective January 1, 2022)

Which course should I take?

All of the courses will cover all license types including restaurants, hotels, taverns, liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores (and all others). There are private courses for specific companies and their employees. Only select those classes if you are employed by the company.
