In 2013, Patrick Maroney was appointed Director of the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division. He is widely considered an expert in Colorado liquor laws and rules. He authored several of them and chaired the Liquor Working Group for rulemaking.
Under his tenure, Colorado saw the most sweeping changes in liquor history since Prohibition. Mr. Maroney helped navigate the implementation of SB 16-197 and SB 18-243, and trained stakeholders across the industry to understand the changes that affected them.
