Patrick Maroney is the former (retired) Director for the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division and is considered an expert in Colorado liquor laws and rules. Under his tenure, Colorado saw the most sweeping changes in liquor history since prohibition. Mr. Maroney helped navigate the implementation of SB 16-197 and SB 18-243 and provided key training to stakeholders in order to understand the changes that affected the liquor industry.
Alcohol Beverage Training was developed to provide Colorado liquor licensees and other liquor stakeholders the needed training in order to understand the Colorado laws and rules in more simpler terms. Compliance with liquor laws and rules can be complicated and involve serious consequences if not followed. Mostly, improper service of alcohol could lead to serious bodily injury or death.
Since standard on-line training is not recognized in Colorado for Responsible Vendor training, training can be provided in a live classroom setting where live, firsthand instruction provides the best training available. Alcohol Beverage Training now also offers live web streaming classes that is certified by the Liquor Enforcement Division and will give you the opportunity to learn liquor laws and rules firsthand as well. All classroom experiences (both in person and through live streaming) will allow for questions covering all aspects of liquor laws and rules.
